Data Table Automation

  • To create automation, click the Kebab icon on the left side of the page and select Administration. 
  • Then select Data Table. 
  • Select the specific data table to which automation needs to be created. 
  • Click “Automations” button which will be available for owners only. 
  • Then go to Automations Center to create new automation. 
  • Choose the required scenario like when a row is added notify someone, create a new contact in some specific project, assign to someone, create a new ticket in Yorodesk with request type, and simply create a new contact. 
  • For the scenario “Whenever a row is added, notify someone”, provide email id whom to be notified by clicking “someone”. 
  • Provide the required email ids and click “Apply” button. 
  • Whenever a row is added, email will be sent to the given email id.  
  • To create a new contact automatically, users need to map the data table columns. 
  • For the delete scenario, click “choose contact” and map the unique fields of the data table like name and email. 
  • To trigger the automation to notify someone when a specific column is updated, select “choose columns” and select the columns in the data table. 
  • To select users whom to be notified, select “someone”. 
  • Then provide the necessary email id and click “Apply” button. 
  • Then click “Save Automation” button to save the process.
