Update Custom Field Values

  • In YoroCRM’s campaign, click the setting icon on the top tight corner and go to “Event Automation”. 
  • Under Automation Center, choose the scenario “Whenever a status changes to choose status update contact choose field with choose value”. 
  • Click “choose status” and select the statuses shown below. 
  • Then click “choose field” to show the custom field in the contact form. 
  • Now select any custom fields like “num1” from the list given.  
  • Now choose “Number” to update computed numerical values. 
  • Then provide required inputs either by entering manually or by choosing from the given value. 
  • Next choose “Operator” from the drop-down menu to perform certain process. 
  • Then click “Apply”. 
  • Next click “Save Automation”. 
  • If the required update is based on day, month, or year, then choose “Date”. 
  • Under the “Date” tab, choose day, month, or year as per the required automation. 
  • Then choose “Start date” and “End Date” or enter manually. 
  • Then click “Apply” and “Update Automation”. 

Another automation is to check all the contact daily and make changes when the conditions are satisfied. 

  • To run this automation, go to “CRM Administration” on the contact’s page. 
  • Click “Create Automation”.
  • Choose the scenarios for daily check automation. 
  • Then choose the contact field to check and enter the value to check. 
  • If the number field is chosen, enter the input value to check. 
  • If the date field is chosen, choose the current date or provide date date manually. 
  • Then choose any specific campaign/deal board to add the contact, whenever the condition satisfied. 
  • Then click “Save Automation”.
